Orders & Exchanges

1. General Transactional Framework

This Orders and Exchanges Policy (“Policy”) governs all commercial transactions entered into between AltarBoy, a California sole proprietorship (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”), and any purchaser (“Customer,” “you,” “your”) through this website (the “Site”) or any affiliated online sales channel.

All sales are deemed final upon confirmation of order, subject only to the limited exchange provisions expressly described herein.

2. Nature of Limited-Run and Scarcity-Based Inventory

The Company operates primarily under a limited-run, small-batch production model. Product availability is finite, frequently non-replenishable, and subject to discontinuation without notice.

You acknowledge that inventory volatility is inherent to this business model and waive any claim arising from unavailability, restock delay, or discontinuation of any product.

3. No Refund Policy (Refund Exclusion Doctrine)

The Company does not offer monetary refunds to original payment methods under any circumstances, except where explicitly required by non-waivable California law.

You acknowledge and agree that all purchases constitute final sales, subject solely to discretionary exchange eligibility.

4. Exchange-Only Mechanism

Exchanges may be requested solely for the purposes of:

  • Size correction

  • Manufacturing defects verified by the Company

  • Shipment damage documented within a reasonable time frame

All exchange requests are subject to:

  • Inventory availability

  • Internal inspection and approval

  • Compliance with return condition standards

We reserve the absolute right to approve or deny any exchange request in our sole discretion.

5. Final Sale Classification

The following categories of products are irrevocably classified as Final Sale and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange:

  • Limited-run items

  • Special release garments

  • Marked “Final Sale” goods

  • Discounted or promotional items

  • Customized or altered products

This classification is binding and non-negotiable.

6. Condition Precedent for Any Exchange Consideration

To be eligible for exchange consideration, items must:

  • Remain unworn

  • Remain unwashed

  • Contain all original tags

  • Be free of odors, damage, or alterations

The Company retains exclusive authority to determine whether these standards have been satisfied.

7. Shipping and Transit Risk Allocation

All delivery timelines are estimates only. The Company is not responsible for carrier delays, disruptions, misrouting, or logistical failures outside its direct control.

Risk of loss transfers to the Customer upon carrier acceptance, unless otherwise mandated by law.

8. Fraud, Abuse, and Transactional Misconduct Clause

We reserve the right to permanently restrict or refuse service to any Customer who:

  • Initiates chargebacks

  • Files payment disputes without prior resolution efforts

  • Engages in pattern-based transactional abuse

Such activity may result in civil enforcement measures where permitted by law.

9. Order Cancellation Rights

We reserve the unilateral right to cancel or refuse any order, at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to:

  • Suspected fraud indicators

  • Inventory exhaustion

  • Pricing or listing errors

  • Internal policy compliance triggers

10. Exchange Process Governance

All exchange requests must be submitted through Company-designated channels.

You are responsible for:

  • Shipping costs associated with sending the item back

  • Packaging integrity

  • Tracking and proof of delivery

We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

11. Non-Waiver of Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Policy shall be construed to waive any non-waivable consumer rights under California or federal law.

12. Policy Amendments

We reserve the right to amend or modify this Policy at any time without prior notice.

Continued use of the Site following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
